Intensity. Transition. Quickening.
Scorpio Super New Moon and November Updates
The pace will continue to quicken and intensify through the end of the year and into January 2022. Those old feelings of languishing and stalling-out are a thing of the past. It's time to get real honest about what matters and take considered action.
November is an emotionally intense and charged month testing our desires, willpower, and values. The dominant Scorpio energy invites us to get to the bottom of things, to delve into our psyches, and explore with radical honesty our motivations, drives, and needs. Checking that they stem from true passions and interests and not from shadow drivers like envy, jealously, pride, anger, prejudice. During Scorpionic times:
You have the choice to work on your stuff or have your stuff work on you.
Scorpio’s aim is to live each moment as if it were the last. To cut away the BS, the approved answers, the societal appropriateness, and get to what is real. Honesty. Clarity. Intensity. (There’s that word again).
I'm talking about what it feels like when faced with the death of someone you love or even, your own mortality. That’s the kind of deep, realness Scorpio swims in. And I know those waters can be super scary. They’re also incredibly clarifying, like an icy cold water plunge. It shocks you into focus.
This isn’t an analytical, mental process of weighing the pros and cons to reach a rational conclusion, this is instinctual. Instantaneous. Emotional.
We’re going to be struck by the visceral again and again this month. The evolutionary growth move is to have the courage to open yourself up to feel, to take down the walls and face it all, even if it terrifies the bejesus out of you. And, ask the critical question:
“Given that my time here is limited, what should I do next?”
What is really important to me?”
KEY DATES:
November 4th: Scorpio SUPER New Moon
Expect a Scorpionic swell a few days before and after this Super New Moon. Emotions will run high. Long-buried emotions and needs around security, finances, and priorities are likely to surface. This moon also includes that rebellious renegade theme that has been popping up all year. Keep your eyes open for the unconventional choice, the unexpected solution, the path that permits you to be more “You” with your freak flag flapping! Set your intention.
November 9th - 17th: Buckle Up
For some, this will feel like GO time. And for others, this may be super frustrating. Two powerhouse archetypes are squaring off. One represents the need for quick, seize the day, disruptive, assertive ACT NOW energy, and the other represents the need for a slower, long-term, strategic measured approach. Ideally, you find a solution that integrates the two, and it's smooth sailing.
If you find you keep hitting roadblocks well, that’s the indication you need more planning or to reassess the direction you’re headed. Take a step back to make sure that the mountain you've chosen to climb is both worthy of you and truly your mountain to climb.
