It’s that time again—the start of a new year and the beginning of a fresh cycle—a time to start living those New Year resolutions, and get back to work re-energized and raring to go.
This year, however, your forward momentum may be stifled by the simultaneous retrogrades of Mercury, Mars, and Uranus. But don't despair!
Think of retrogrades as Quality Assurance
This is NOT a time to sit on your hands, do nothing, and wait it out. During retrogrades, we are invited to move inward, review, and revise our plans to ensure we are moving forward on our most meaningful path.

Since the Summer of 2022, we've been dealing with sluggishness, slowdowns, and the non-starts that retrogrades symbolize. At one point, an unprecedented seven of ten planets were moving backward, representing a powerful, regressive, energetic pull in our daily lives and projects. This likely resulted in project snags, setbacks, and a ton of frustration.

February is likely to feel more like the true start of the New Year.
In the meantime, for the first three weeks of January, lean into your inner Capricorn and keep slogging up that mountain in a practical, methodical way.
