Ketamine can improve mental health in two ways: by improving your brain chemistry, and by providing a conscious therapeutic experience.
When people suffer from chronic anxiety, depression, and PTSD, the neurons in their brain become stunted with fewer connections. Ketamine helps repair this damage by stimulating neuroplasticity, or increased growth and flexibility. This can lead to reduction of negative thoughts and the formation of new neural connections—which is why we refer to Mindbloom treatment as healing at the root.
The therapeutic ketamine experience can also provide positive psychological experiences, new perspectives, and an improvement in baseline mood and mindset.n -
Yes. Ketamine is FDA-approved and legally prescribed off-label for this use by licensed medical providers. Every protocol is medically supervised — you'll work with a licensed clinician who assesses whether it's appropriate for you before anything begins. I am an integration coach, not a prescriber or a medical doctor; my role is the guidance and integration around the medical protocol, not the protocol itself.
-
No. This is coaching. It's not a replacement for therapy or a treatment for a diagnosed mental health condition. If you're currently in therapy, this work can complement it — many clients do both. If you're not sure what's right for you, we can talk it through
-
Most clients say it's gentle, reflective, and pleasant — like feeling light or dreamy. Sessions last about 45–60 minutes, and you can get back to your day soon after. Since sessions happen at home in a familiar, comfortable setting, many people find that comfort helps them go deeper and get more out of the experience.
Note: At the low dose typically used, this is a psycholytic (not psychedelic) dose, so strong ego dissolution and other high-dose psychedelic effects are not part of this process.
-
You follow a low-dose, sublingual ketamine protocol prescribed by your clinician, in the privacy of your own home. I provide grounded support before, during, and after — virtually or in person, depending on your program — so you feel safe and held throughout.
-
Most programs are six one-hour low-dose sessions over six weeks, though you and your clinician will determine what's right for you. Many clients choose to continue coaching for an additional three months after the protocol to integrate what emerged and build it into lasting change.
-
I'm currently accepting in-person concierge clients in the SF Bay Area. Virtual sessions are available globally, with the same high-touch guidance and integration support.
-
At low, medically supervised doses, ketamine does not cause addiction. If you have a history of substance use, tell your provider so they can assess whether it’s safe for you.
-
I understand this question personally — I'm in long-term recovery myself, and I approach this work with a non-negotiable commitment to safety and clinical integrity because of it. This is not a path to escape or a recreational experience; every protocol is therapeutic, medically supervised, and low-dose. Whether it's appropriate for you is something we discuss honestly, together, before you begin. And, I suggest you discuss with your medical and recovery support team.
